Tudor Primary held their annual maths week from 23rd-26th June 2014. The week was an opportunity to celebrate maths in all areas of life.
There were many different activities set up including 'The Cube', timed events, water balloon throws, cooking , athletics, beat the teacher quizzes and parent and child maths trails for EY, KS1 and KS2. Winners for the maths trails were Ryan (Nursery), Zara (KS1) and Arshan (KS2).
The week began with the whole school challenging each other to beat their balloon race times, even the teachers and parents had a go! The culmination included showcasing maths songs and raps, a multimedia presentation and a show by KS1 of maths themed hats and sun glasses.
A big thanks to all the teachers for organising such exciting and inspiring maths events for the children.
