Tudor Primary School

Enterprise Winners 2016

Enterprise Winners 2016

In June and July last year we held an Enterprise project where each class had to initiate a business proposal that began with £5. Different classes decided on a variety of ways to make this £5 grow- we had a Cinema evening, food selling, origami sculptures, sports events organised, pencil toppers and bookmarks made by the children and these were sold to raise money. The variety of activities and wares to sell truly reflected the diversity and creativity of children and staff in our school.

We raised £1200 in total and the school council's survey revealed that the children of Tudor Primary school wanted to spend this on playground equipment. The children have had and will continue to have great pleasure in using the playground equipment that we bought.

Well done to everybody that took part, whether you were making, selling or buying our products. Some children were nominated by staff and their friends to receive Enterprise shields. I am proud to announce that the following children dedicated tremendous time and effort during the Enterprise project. These pupils displayed great management and organisational skills as well as motivating their class colleagues throughout the project. We are very proud of them for their positivity and support for this school project and I am sure you will agree when I say that they are exemplary role models for being 'future Entrepreneurs.'
