Tudor Primary has the pleasure of being visited by Dog Trust on Thursday 30th September 2021. The day started with a whole school “Be Dog Smart” assembly. This covered important advice on how to behave around dogs, their own and somebody else’s dog, as well as what to do if they are feeling worried around dogs.
As well as the assembly, the interactive workshops to year 5 pupils. The workshop aimed at helping young people to learn more about how their behaviour impacts on a dog, how to behave safely around their own and dogs they meet when they are out and about. The lessons are designed to naturally embed PSHE values, as well as promote discussion around actions and consequences to encourage critical thinking.
