World Book Day 2023
Tudor celebrated World Book Day on the 1st and 3rd of March.
On Wednesday 1st March children took part in the World Book Day Story Telling Workshops. EYFS and KS1 visited the Ginger Bread Man. Years 3 and 4 visited the world of Theseus and the Minotaur and years 5 and 6 went on an adventure with Robin Hood.
On Friday 3rd of March, children came into school dressed up as characters in various famous children's book characters, from David Williams, Julia Donaldson, Roald Dahl, Nadia Shireen and many more. The whole day was given over to sharing, reading, and talking about our favourite books. Children made some great costumes at home and showed off their designs in our World Book Day parade.
The day finished off with a special meal with The enormous fish finger sandwich,
The Twits Worm Spaghetti, Magic Finger Chips, with The runaway peas and Too Many Carrots, and a lovely Scrumptious Chocolate Brownie
