Working with the STARS Tfl team, we are working towards improving the health and well-being of the pupils, parents and staff; reducing the pollution and congestion around the school as well as saving money for parents and the community.

A school travel plan demonstrates a school’s commitment to improving local road safety and air quality by planning out actions and targets to address its particular travel needs. The aim is to shift the school community away from using cars for the school commute, and to encourage sustainable modes of travel, such as walking, cycling, scooting and public transport.

It can involve the whole school community, including pupils, parents, teachers and governors, which means it can be an exciting project that is integrated into the life and ethos of the school.
