High School Offer guidance

Provided that your application was received by the closing date:

If you applied online you will receive an email in the evening on 1 March with the outcome of your application. If you made a paper application we will send you a letter by first class post on 1 March confirming the outcome of your application.

Next steps

You will need to confirm whether you are accepting or declining the place that has been offered by 15 March. If you have applied online you can simply log into your eadmissions account and accept or decline online. If you have applied on paper you will need to complete and return the reply slip enclosed with your offer letter.

If you do not respond to your offer the place may be withdrawn and offered to another child.

Waiting lists

Your child will automatically be placed on the waiting list for any higher preference schools for which you did not receive an offer.  If you want to change your school preferences you will need to do this in writing or by email to the admissions team.

The admissions team will not be able to provide waiting list positions until the 22 March.
