School Street Launch Assembly & Launch Day
After completing lessons over a period of 5 weeks both Year 4 & 5 produced an assembly relating to Air quality and Healthy streets and active travel spoke about all they have learned and even performed a role play.
The assembly was presented to the rest of the school and parents. All the children answered the quiz questions at the end of the presentation.
School streets has been promoted through posters created by the JTAs, the school website has a dedicated page for school streets, and various messages sent out to parents and carers. The launch was successful, children enjoyed the free healthy snacks and the parents enjoyd a warm cup of coffee and tea. our active travel tree had an incredible number of green leaves.
