School Streets Consultation – Have your say ..............................
Over the next few weeks, Ealing Council’s School Travel team will be consulting on proposals to implement a School Street for Tudor Primary School. This scheme will close the streets near our school to most traffic at our opening and closing times, making it easier for families and children on for the journey to and from school.
The aim of a School Street scheme is to make the streets around the school a safer and more pleasant environment for everyone whilst maintaining access for residents and businesses within the School Street zone. To do this, access to the road will be restricted to permit holders, pedestrians and cyclists only. This means that the road will be closed to most traffic during the closure times. When parents or carers drop or pick up their children, they will need to walk, cycle or scoot or park further away from the school and walk the last part of the journey.

If you would like to find out more about the scheme before filling out the survey, Ealing Council are hosting a Pop-Up Event on 9th November, 2:30pm to 6pm in the school hut.
There will be maps showing the proposed School Street area, information on what makes a healthy street and the School Travel Team will be available to answer your questions and take your feedback.
The pop up will start at 2:30pm, prior to the end of the school day, so feel free to come along to the school a little earlier or collect your child and pop in on your way home. It will be open until 6pm so there is also plenty of time to drop in later.
