Air Quality Workshops

From November to January the year 4 students had weekly lessons and learned about Air Quality, what causes air pollution and what we can do to resolve.

The children carried out various activities, a window wipe experiment where they tested windows in different parts of the building to see how dirty they were. the results were that the windows in the front of the school were more dirty than the back, as the front of the school receives more traffic.

The children completed 'pledges' the overall pledge was that the children will walk more everywhere not just to school and the option is to drive electric cars and a road traffic count on the main road to view how busy it can be.
