  • Girls Footballers presented with new kit by QPR Premier League Primary Stars

    Fri 22 Mar 2024

As part of our schools partnership with QPR  Premier League Primary Stars, our girls football team have been gifted with a brand new football kit just for the girls!!

Receiving the kit from Premier League Primary Stars means a great deal to the girls at our school.  It's made them really excited about representing the school and has shown them that girls football is just as important as boys football. Including the hijabs, has meant that all of the girls feel a part of the team. The school are incredibly grateful for this gesture and the help it provides in promoting girls football.

  • World Book Day

    Thu 07 Mar 2024

Our annual World Book Day Celebration was amazing, thank you to everyone who got dressed up, and to those who were able to make their costumes at home using recycled material.

As part of our eco-school project, our aim was to also get children to upcycle and recycle material they have at home to showcase on World Book Day.

"I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees. I speak for the trees, for the trees have no voice," Dr Seuss.

The Lorax encapsulates the central theme of environmental advocacy and the importance of speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves. In this powerful statement, The Lorax establishes himself as the voice for the trees, emphasizing the urgency to protect and preserve nature. By personifying the trees and acknowledging their silent plight, The Lorax challenges us to recognize our responsibility as stewards of the environment and sparks a call to action to ensure the well-being and survival of the natural world.

We also had the pleasure of an author visit to the school. Simon Adepetun visited the school to talk about his new book 'The Curse of the Marshmallows' and to talk about his journey as an author.

Finally thank you to Ms Kalra (Headteacher) for buying a book for each child for World Book Day.
