Applying for a Reception Place – September 2027
Starting school is an exciting and important milestone for children and their families. At Tudor Primary School, we aim to ensure that every child has a happy, positive and successful start to their school journey.
Reception at Tudor Primary School
In Reception, children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. Our reception provision supports children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS, providing a balance of purposeful play, exploration and carefully planned adult-led learning.
We place great importance on helping children to feel safe, happy and confident, developing positive relationships and establishing strong foundations for their future learning.
Children who are due to start Reception in September 2027 will normally have been born between:
1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023.

How to Apply
Applications for Reception places for September 2027 are made through your home local authority.
The application process opens on:
1 September 2026
The closing date for applications is:
15 January 2027
Applications should be made online using the eAdmissions system. It is important to submit your application by the closing date, as applications received after 15 January 2027 will normally be treated as late and considered after applications submitted on time.
National Offer Day
National Offer Day is 16 April 2027.
Parents and carers who have applied online will receive information confirming which primary school their child has been offered.
The deadline for parents and carers to respond to offers made on National Offer Day is:
30 April 2027
It is important to respond to your offer by the stated deadline. Failure to respond could result in the offered place being withdrawn and offered to another child.
Reception Places at Tudor Primary School
Reception places at Tudor Primary School are allocated through Ealing Council's school admissions process. The school does not directly allocate Reception places.
