All: All children regardless of ability, race, gender, religion , disability or background.
Happy: All children should feel confident and enjoy coming to school.
Motivated: Children should feel enthused and excited by learning. We ensure lessons are engaging, starting from the child’s experiences wherever possible. We use a range of teaching techniques to cater for individual learning styles and abilities.
Supportive: At Tudor there may be different starting points and different learning paths but guided by skilled and caring staff, every child can succeed in their journey to meet high expectations. We grow by learning and we learn from making mistakes and improving on them.
Safe: We will do our utmost to ensure that every child is protected from social, emotional and physical harm. We will ensure that we maintain good practice by identifying and minimising risk by always put the child first.
Stimulating: Teaching and Learning is vibrant, interactive and promotes learning for all.
Professional staff: Our staff members are committed to the highest standards of professionalism and courtesy. Through our training and practice we endeavour to excel in our capacity to meet the needs of our children. We work hard to develop expertise and skills to ensure the best for all our pupils.
Positively supported: The needs of the children are paramount and all stakeholders play an invaluable role in the learning of all children. We will work together to support them (parents, carers and governors) in fulfilling this role and actively seek an engaging and positive relationship.
