Report on Recent Successful Sports Competitions
We are thrilled to share the fantastic results from our recent sports competitions, where our talented students demonstrated remarkable skills and teamwork!
First up, our Year 3 and 4 girls’ football team achieved an impressive third place at the girls’ football competition. Their journey was a nail-biter as they narrowly lost in the semi-finals on penalties. Rahma and Ilaja stood out as two of the best players in the entire competition, showcasing their fantastic abilities.
Similarly, our Year 6 girls’ cricket team also finished third in their competition. The tremendous progress they made in their PE lessons truly shone through, with excellent bowling and batting skills on display. They were a real credit to the school!
And what a performance from the Year 6 boys’ cricket team, who remarkably won their competition! Their focus and problem-solving skills were exceptional, especially during a thrilling semi-final where they were down by 23 runs with only three balls left. Team captain Zain pulled off an incredible win by scoring 25 runs, demonstrating quick thinking and superb technique.
Not only did they secure victory, but the boys also made history as the first Tudor team to win a cricket tournament. What a proud moment for us all!
