In Nursery we spend a lot of time learning outdoors, even when it is cold and a little drizzly. Your child should be equipped with suitable clothing for the changing weather; a hooded coat, scarf, gloves and a hat on cold days. In the summer the children will need to bring in a sun hat and sun cream on hot days (we recommend applying a long lasting sun screen before Nursery).  We may sometimes request that your child bring wellies to Nursery to avoid getting muddy on wet days!

Your child will have their own peg where their coat and a bag of spare clothes, if needed, may be kept throughout the session.  Please ensure the school has a spare pair of clothes your child can change into if needed. 

The children will be encouraged to find their coat for outdoor play or home time by themselves to help them become independent.
