  Champions!!!

   

  When we went to the mini-golf competition, I knew how to play mini-golf but did not play in real life. As we started playing, we were confused and when we came to the end we started to get the hang of it. The teacher said we were doing very well. We had so much fun at the end of the day. After a few days, we were waiting for the scores and we got 1st place. We used our follow-through and learned to position ourselves if we want the ball to go in the hole. It was fun and I had a really good experience. I would love to do it again in the future.

• Year 2 Florence Nightingale visit

  Thursday 25th May year 2 was visited by Florence Nightingale. Using a selection of Victorian artefacts, Miss Nightingale told the children about her early life, her dreams of becoming a nurse and then take them back in time to experience life as it was for her in Scutari. The children, dressed up as nurses, soldiers, and doctors, whilst learning about the health hazards of Victorian life.

• The Bird Man

  Tuesday 23rd May we were lucky to be visited by the bird man. The children had the amazing opportunity to see Alan in action flying his birds, The workshop covered a variety of species from the bird of prey world, some native UK species and others from the far reaches of the United states and Mexico.
