Year 6 APNA football

Two teams of Year 6 children represented the school at this year’s APNA football tournament. 

The B team had some very tough games but despite this they remained resilient and improved in every single match. 

The A team won two out of their three games in the morning, playing some fantastic football with great passing and moving and clinical finishing in front of goal.  They  won a nail biting contest against Selborne in their last sixteen fixture on penalties however they were knocked out of the tournament in the quarter finals by a very strong Fielding side.

Both sides did a superb job of representing the school and they should all be very proud of themselves.
